MASTER SERGEANT GREGORY C. MANKIEWICZ was born on 8 November 1948. He served in the US Navy from 1966 until 1969. He was discharged as a Petty Officer Second Class (E-5) Torpedoman. He served in Company A, 2/19th SG Gp, RIARNG with a primary MOS 18Z50 and a secondary MOS of 91B5P. He was awarded the SF Tab, Master Parachutist Badge and Royal Thai Army Parachutist Badge. He retired on 27 August 1990. He died of a heart attack on 13 October 1992.
He is buried in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT; plot 10-C-R12-G93.
